Convert TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 both ways, inspect metrics and coverage, get @font-face CSS.
Drop a font here, or
TTF · OTF · WOFF · WOFF2 — never uploaded, converted on your device
WOFF2 encoding and decoding use the official Google woff2 codec compiled to WebAssembly. WOFF1 uses the browser's built-in zlib via Compression Streams, and TTF/OTF output is assembled directly from the font's own tables — so glyphs, hinting and OpenType features are carried through untouched. Fonts stay on your device. Converting a font does not change its licence: check the licence before self-hosting.
Font Converter & Inspector converts TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 fonts to each other in your browser, using the official woff2 compressor compiled to WebAssembly. It also reads the font's name, version, glyph count, metrics and Unicode coverage, previews it live on your own text, and generates the matching @font-face CSS. No font is uploaded.
Convert web fonts between the formats browsers actually want, and see exactly what is inside a font file before you ship it. Drop in a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 and get any of the other three back — WOFF2 encoding uses the real Google woff2 compressor compiled to WebAssembly, so the output is byte-comparable to what fonttools produces, typically 30-50% smaller than the TTF you started with. The inspector reads the font's own tables and reports family and subfamily names, version, designer, license URL, glyph count, units per em, ascender and descender, weight class, whether it is monospaced or variable, and which Unicode ranges it actually covers, so you can tell at a glance if a font has the Cyrillic or Arabic coverage you need. A live preview renders your own sample text in the uploaded font at any size, and the tool writes the matching @font-face CSS with the correct format() hints and unicode-range. Fonts are parsed and converted in your browser and are never uploaded.
Font Converter & Inspector provides in-browser conversion between TTF, OTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 formats using a WebAssembly-compiled compressor, ensuring outputs are small and accurate without requiring server uploads. Beyond conversion, it inspects internal font tables to verify metrics, glyph counts, and Unicode language coverage while generating ready-to-use @font-face CSS. This client-side processing keeps font files completely private while eliminating the need for desktop installations or registration.
Good to know: Because processing happens entirely within the browser, extremely large font files or automated batch workflows requiring command-line integration may benefit from a dedicated desktop or server-side tool.
