WOFF2 encoding and decoding use the official Google woff2 codec compiled to WebAssembly. WOFF1 uses the browser's built-in zlib via Compression Streams, and TTF/OTF output is assembled directly from the font's own tables — so glyphs, hinting and OpenType features are carried through untouched. Fonts stay on your device. Converting a font does not change its licence: check the licence before self-hosting.

A live preview renders your own sample text in the uploaded font at any size, and the tool writes the matching @font-face CSS with the correct format() hints and unicode-range. Fonts are parsed and converted in your browser and are never uploaded.
