1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Toolsy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Toolsy is an online platform offering free and premium mini tools for developers, writers, and creators. Free tools are available without an account. Premium AI-powered tools require a registered account and a credit balance.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits & Payments

Premium tools require credits. Credits are purchased in packages and are non-refundable except where required by law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Credits are deducted only on successful tool execution. If a tool fails due to a server error, credits are not deducted.

Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or abuse the API
Circumvent rate limits or other access controls
Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or malware
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

6. AI-Generated Content

AI tools on the platform are powered by third-party large language models. Output from these tools may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content. We do not warrant the accuracy or fitness for purpose of any AI output.

7. Intellectual Property

The Toolsy platform, its design, and its source code are the intellectual property of Toolsy and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Content you submit to a tool (your inputs and outputs) remains yours. By submitting content you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toolsy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits will not be refunded unless required by applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
