Follow these steps to run a private AI language model directly in your browser for secure, offline conversations.
Open the Offline AI Chat tool
Navigate to the Offline AI Chat page in a browser that supports WebGPU to begin the setup process.
Download the AI model files
Click the download button to save the WebLLM model to your browser cache; this is the only step requiring internet.
Disconnect your internet connection
Once the download is complete, you can safely go offline as the AI now runs entirely on your local hardware.
Type your prompt into the chat
Enter your questions or instructions into the chat interface just as you would with a standard AI assistant.
Receive private AI generated responses
