Generate PGP keys, then encrypt, decrypt, sign and verify messages entirely in your browser.

Protects the private key at rest. Leave empty for an unprotected key (not recommended).
Modern ECC — fast, small keys, generated instantly
0 = never expires
All key generation, encryption, decryption and signing run in your browser using OpenPGP.js. Private keys and passphrases are never sent anywhere and are not stored — close the tab and they are gone. Output is standard OpenPGP armor, so it interoperates with GnuPG, Thunderbird, Proton Mail and any other RFC 9580 client.
PGP Encrypt & Decrypt generates OpenPGP key pairs (Curve25519 or RSA), encrypts and decrypts armored PGP messages, signs and verifies text, and inspects keys and messages to show fingerprints, algorithms and expiry. Every operation runs locally in your browser with OpenPGP.js — no key or passphrase is ever uploaded.
A complete OpenPGP workstation that runs inside your browser tab. Generate a modern key pair (Curve25519 or RSA) with a passphrase, encrypt a message to someone's public key, decrypt armored messages sent to you, and sign or verify text so recipients can prove it really came from you. It also inspects any armored key or message and shows you what is actually inside — key ID and fingerprint, algorithm and curve, user IDs, creation and expiry dates, and which key a message is encrypted to — which is the fastest way to debug "why can't they decrypt this?". Encryption, decryption, signing and key generation all happen locally with the OpenPGP.js library; your private key and passphrase are never transmitted, logged or stored on any server, and nothing survives a page reload unless you download it.
PGP Encrypt & Decrypt provides a complete, client-side OpenPGP workstation directly in the browser using the OpenPGP.js library. Users can generate key pairs, encrypt, decrypt, sign, and verify messages while ensuring private keys and passphrases are never transmitted or stored on any server. It also includes an inspection utility to quickly debug key fingerprints, algorithms, and message metadata without requiring local software installation.
Good to know: Because operations occur within the browser tab, data does not persist past a page reload unless explicitly downloaded, and highly automated or heavy batch workflows may be better suited to native desktop or command-line utilities.
Learn how to generate key pairs, encrypt, decrypt, and inspect PGP messages securely in your browser.
Generate or import your PGP key pair
Create a modern Curve25519 or RSA key pair using a secure passphrase, or load your existing keys.
Paste your message or armored text
Enter the text, message, or armored PGP block you want to process into the tool input field.
Select your action and parameters
Choose whether you want to encrypt, decrypt, sign, verify, or inspect the provided PGP data.
Process locally within your browser
Execute the operation locally via OpenPGP.js to ensure your private key and passphrase never leave your device.
Copy or download your secure output
Review the inspection details or copy your freshly encrypted, decrypted, or signed message result.
