Theremin — Mouse Synth lets you play pitch (left/right) and volume (up/down) by moving your mouse or finger, with selectable waveforms and an optional snap-to-scale. It’s built on the Web Audio API and runs entirely in your browser.
Play a theremin-style instrument with your mouse or finger. Move left and right to change pitch and up and down to change volume, gliding smoothly between notes for that eerie, sci-fi theremin sound. Switch waveforms (sine, triangle, square, sawtooth), turn on “snap to scale” to lock to a musical scale, and set the octave range. It’s a fun, hands-on synth that uses the Web Audio API — no plugins, no downloads, and it runs entirely in your browser.
